Natalie “Nat” Margaret Houle is a sound designer and composer originally from New York. Nat holds a BA in Theatre Design & Technology: Sound Design from SUNY New Paltz and is on the cusp of completing her MFA in Sound Design at the University of California, Irvine. Object-based sound designs are a major emphasis in her work: in 2023, she was featured by L-Acoustics for her work on The Story of Biddy Mason using L-ISA and was sponsored for a Medici Circle Scholarship to study spatial audio.
